Dragons and Bubbles!

We spent the day at the Renaissance Fair on Saturday. They had a huge dragon that Simeon loved running through. It's a really neat fair the town puts on the first weekend in May every year. There's lots of fun activities for the kids and different live music all day. It was another great day for us as the kids started to feel better and better and we got out to enjoy the sunshine all day. I drug them to a few yard sales in the morning, so then we had to just go play. We bought more tomatoes at the growers market since our other ones froze. And then we spent the day at the fair. Renaissance means new birth/new life so it was great reminder to us, once again, that after a week of feeling lousy, this is what being healthy was like.
Simeon enjoyed the giant bubbles
It took Simeon a little bit to get up the gumption to sit and let the man paint a seahorse on his face. But everytime i tried to get him to go and told him he could get one another time if he wasn't ready, he didn't want to leave and really wanted one on his face. Finally he was ready and jumped up in the chair and got this little critter on his cheek. Then he was so proud of it and called it a "waterhorse."
He really enjoyed watching all the instruments and listening to the fun African music this band was playing.
