It started snowing hard that night we stayed in Spokane, and we walked the streets all bundled up, looking at the lights of the city. Simeon was glad when we stopped to eat dinner in an old steam plant that had been restored into a restaurant. He noticed every pipe and vent that used to be filled with steam.
