JOY Joy JOY! Christmas morning! What a day of Celebration!

Out with the old and in with the new. We had a day of feasting and opening new gifts that should always lead us to remember the greatest gift of all. We helped Simeon to learn some of the meaning of the Advent season this year by hanging Advent ornaments on our Christmas tree. They are symbols that remind us of God's promises to His people that ultimately led to Christ. There is a ram for the story of Abraham and Isaac, reminding us that God provided the sacrifice. It was exciting to me to see Simeon actually remembering these truths, when we were out doing errands one day and he saw a picture of a ram and turned to me and said, "remember mama, what does the ram remind us of?" Those are precious moments that always make my heart sing.
It was such a joy to give so many good gifts to our children and see them respond with glee.
Camille got a new lion to add to her zoo. Can you see the resemblance? Bright, yellow, sunshine.
Camille really got into discovering what was inside the boxes. She liked to put them all back in once she opened them. And Simeon has tooken to the air after his ride in the gondola.
